Bridal Headbands & Tiaras
Whether you are looking for a simple, pretty headband or a dazzling tiara, Jessica Lauren has you covered!
What is a bridal headband or tiara?
Bridal headbands and tiaras both sit on your head on a shaped metal band. We tend to refer to taller, more peaked headpieces on bands as tiaras (or even crowns but technically a crown is a full circle headpiece), and ones that are smaller and sit flatter to the head as headbands. But really, both names are interchangeable.
You might also wear a tiara upon your head at a more tilted angle similar to a crown. Whereas a headband can be worn with the ends of the bands straight down behind the ears.
What are your bridal headbands and tiaras made with?
All of Jessica Lauren’s headpiece range will feature combinations using glass pearls, freshwater pearls and high-quality crystals and rhinestones.
Who can wear a bridal tiara?
The best thing about bridal headbands, and tiaras, is that they can be worn by anyone. You don’t need a certain hairstyle to be able to wear one of these headpieces. The right tiara will complement both up, and down, hairstyles equally.
What type should I choose, a tiara or headband?
We encourage brides to match their own personal style, as this will make you feel more comfortable and confident. If your style is more minimalist, a smaller, less extravagant headband may be more suitable. If you are more outgoing, you may choose a larger, more out there, tiara. However, it is your wedding and you should choose whichever headpiece you like!
How do I match my tiara to my wedding dress?
We recommend matching up any beading you have on your wedding dress to the beading in your tiara. For example, if you have rhinestones or diamantes scattered across your dress then you should choose a tiara containing those beads. You may have pearls on your dress and choose a pearl tiara. You may want a combination of beads.
I have a plain wedding dress, can I still wear a tiara?
Most definitely! A tiara, or bridal headband, is the perfect accessory to add a little bit of sparkle, or beading, to your wedding outfit.
Can bridesmaids wear headbands?
Yes, although we'd recommend choosing one of Jessica Lauren’s smaller hair accessories for bridesmaids as a general rule. That way they can still feel like princesses, without outshining the bride!
